Question 1

How far in advance should I book a tour?

Accepted Answer

For popular destinations during peak season, booking 4-6 weeks ahead ensures availability and better prices. Off-season tours can often be booked with shorter notice, sometimes just a week or two before departure. Earlier booking always gives you more options.

Question 2

Can I modify the pre-planned itinerary?

Accepted Answer

Many tour operators offer customization options for private bookings. You can typically adjust accommodation level, add extra days, or include specific activities. Contact the operator through our platform to discuss modifications. Some changes may incur additional costs.

Question 3

What's typically included in the tour price?

Accepted Answer

Most packages include transportation, accommodation, specified meals, entrance fees to attractions, and guide services. Airfare, travel insurance, personal expenses, and some meals are usually excluded unless explicitly stated. Always carefully read the 'Inclusions' and 'Exclusions' section.

Question 4

Are solo travelers welcome on group tours?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Many tours cater to solo travelers, though some may charge a single-room supplement for private accommodation. Check individual tour details for exact pricing. Group tours provide excellent opportunities to meet like-minded fellow travelers.

Question 5

What happens if weather affects my tour?

Accepted Answer

Professional tour operators have contingency plans for weather-related disruptions. They'll adjust the itinerary to alternative activities while ensuring you still receive full value from your booking. Safety is always the top priority, and experienced operators know how to adapt to unexpected conditions.

Question 6

What's the typical tour group size?

Accepted Answer

Group sizes vary by tour type. Small group tours typically have 8-15 participants, while standard group tours might accommodate 20-35 people. Private tours are also available for more intimate experiences. Smaller groups usually offer more interaction with the guide and greater flexibility.

Question 7

What if I don't speak the local language?

Accepted Answer

Most tours operate with guides who speak multiple languages including Persian and English. Confirm language availability when booking to ensure clear communication throughout your trip. Experienced guides are also skilled in non-verbal communication and helping with translation in various situations.

Question 8

What's your cancellation policy for tour bookings?

Accepted Answer

Cancellation terms vary by tour operator and how far in advance you cancel. Generally, cancellations 30+ days out receive full or partial refunds, while last-minute cancellations may incur fees. Check specific terms before booking and consider travel insurance for extra protection.

Question 9

Are meals included in tour packages?

Accepted Answer

This varies significantly. Some tours include all meals, others only breakfast, and some exclude meals entirely. Check each tour's 'Inclusions' section for precise meal information. Tours that include food typically feature authentic local cuisine to showcase the region's culinary culture.

Question 10

Do I need travel insurance for tours?

Accepted Answer

While not mandatory, travel insurance is highly recommended to cover unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or trip interruptions. Some tour operators require proof of insurance for adventure activities. Comprehensive insurance provides peace of mind and protects your travel investment.

Question 11

How do I communicate with my tour operator before departure?

Accepted Answer

After booking, you'll receive the operator's contact information through our platform. Most provide pre-trip briefings, packing lists, and are available to answer questions via email or phone. We also offer customer support services to help facilitate communication.

Question 12

Can families with young children join these tours?

Accepted Answer

Many tours are family-friendly, but activity levels and age restrictions vary. Look for tours specifically labeled as 'family-friendly' or contact operators to discuss age-appropriate options for your children. Some tours offer kid-specific activities and family discounts.
